Welcome back and happy Tuesday. Wow! It's now July--no way! I feel like summer is already slipping away but at least things on the home front will be slower this month. I'm happy about that and just hope I can keep my very full work schedule in check as well. Plus we have our camping trip booked so that gives us a small escape to look forward to. Can't wait.
Until then here are last week's pictures:
Day 175- Monday, 6/24/19
Final week! They have a new coach too so he's going over plays with them before the game starts. Thankfully it also means more paying time for all as he changes things up a bit.
Day 176- Tuesday, 6/25/19
A common fond in our front entry where the birds are never ending with trying to come in and build nests.
Day 177- Wednesday, 6/26/19
This will be the last time for a good month that I will have to sit in a gym on these hard wooden benches. The summer league for basketball is over and we're ready for the break. Once the game ended we walked out and saw this beautiful sunset over the parking lot which is never a bad way to end things.
Day 178- Thursday, 6/27/19
Brandon is helping me take Bella to the vet again so we can get some blood work done to make sure she will be ok on long-term pain meds for arthritis. Her joints are really bothering her these days and it's hard to see her so stiff and in pain. It sucks getting old. At least she enjoyed her first ride in the new car and fit perfectly.
Day 179- Friday, 6/28/19
TGIF! We're happy to celebrate the start of the weekend where we have nothing on the schedule. What a concept! Bring it!!
Day 180- Saturday, 6/29/19
This cat likes to sit here in the early mornings. Usually he's sending me off to work but on weekends I think he's waiting for someone to let the dog in. It was a gorgeous day out and I still have many new flowers blooming especially by the pool. Love the color and shape of these.
Day 181- Sunday, 6/30/19
We're missing Tyler who back in LA for summer sessions. He texted me a picture of the brunch he made himself. Since he's not in a dorm that means no food service so he's learning to cook for himself and I think enjoying it. Here at home the younger two went out with John to find some safe and sane fireworks in preparation for the 4th. How fun!
That's it! Have a good 4th everyone. We're hoping to mostly spend it poolside.
A busy summery week! Yay for a weekend with nothing on the schedule!
ReplyDeleteLove the cooking photo of Tyler! Pretty flowers! And yeah for a break from basketball! That is a long season! Hope you have a great week and a Happy 4th of July!
