. . . And here is the next.
Take a look at pictures from the week 38:

Day 258- Monday, 9/15/25

Remote works days are good for squeezing in other things. On my morning break I was able to empty the dishwasher and as soon as I was done for the day in the afternoon I was able to get my teeth cleaned all mostly by saving on commute time.

Another day staying after work for a different event. It's the kick off to the vet school's hospital expansion which will be at least 4 new buildings and apparently our new marketing theme word for the next few years is "Limitless" which was way over used in the presentation today. This morning they presented to donors and this afternoon they presented to staff also providing us with treats and swag. It was all very nice and all sounds and looks great, but I still want to know what they'll do about parking which is already a problem. The only parking related thing mentioned was that the first building going up will be built in the parking lot most the staff usually parks in but no mention of alternative parking lots planned!?

Tyler's birthday is coming up early next week and we will celebrate with him tomorrow so I made sure to get his presents wrapped this morning before traveling to Chico this afternoon. In Chico I met a long-time online mother's group friend for the first time in person. She lives in Virginia on the east coast and is traveling across country and back with her husband. She knew I lived close to where she would be staying for one of her stops and reached out to me. We have known each other for over 27 years now so it was nice to actually meet her and enjoy some time together. I have met 10 of the women in this online group in person now. I think there are around 30 of us. We all had babies born in Sept/Oct 1998 and have been a wonderful support group for each other over the years.
I have this lantern I use in the mornings when it's still dark and Rusty is fascinated with it. Later Tyler and Lupe came for Sunday dinner and we celebrated his birthday early since it's on Tuesday and he has to work that day. It's always a good time opening presents and his brothers away at school were great about using Amazon to get presents sent here for him too. Also the Niners were playing so of course he and his dad had a great time watching the game together.
That's all for this week. How many more before I catch up? I've got to be getting close.
