Week 8

Hello and welcome back! We actually had a cold snap last week and chances for rain although where we live not enough rain to even be measurable.  Temps overnight for a few days did drop below freezing making it feel a bit more like February at least for a few days.  Now we're back to spring like conditions again and enjoying the sunshine as we head into March.

Here are last week's pictures:

Day 52- Monday, 2/21/22

Today most of us were home for President's Day and the long weekend was much appreciated.  While enjoying downtime I'll take as many cat snuggles as I can get before it starts to really heat up and he no longer needs or wants our warmth.   Then out back aside from all the pretty flowers in bloom we also have our trees budding bright, new, green leaves.

Day 53- Tuesday, 2/22/22

Big white fluffy clouds moved in today along with darker thunder clouds later one.  Some places got rain and even snow.  We just got spat on for a few minutes--LOL!  At least the sky was pretty and a good backdrop for my white flower picture as Bella and I walked through the park.

Day 54- Wednesday, 2/23/22

Wednesday at work- nature's confetti on campus has littered the grounds.  It's bright and sunny out but really cold hence the warm winter boots.  In other news John has been fighting a touch of pneumonia that has him coughing, wheezing, and sleeping a lot.  Poor guy needs some antibiotics that will actually work for him.

Day 55- Thursday, 2/24/22

Mandarin oranges are my go-to after work snack.  They are quick, easy, delicious, and have that daily dose of natural vitamin C which is never a bad thing.  Outside this tree of ours is budding deep pink spring flowers that adds some beautiful interest to the maze of bare branches.

Day 56- Friday, 2/25/22

With my Friday night party guy out of commission and Brandon working it's just me and the dog tonight.  On Fridays she gets her treat-release toy filled and has brought it over to remind me of that.  LOL!

Day 57- Saturday, 2/26/22

Between doing weekend chores and running errands I also carved out some time to work up another bullet journal spread which gave me a chance to play around with some sticker list sets.  On a heavier note my heart goes out to Ukraine, but wow are they tough and putting up a good fight.  It's great to see what an example of a strong leader can do to motivate and unite a country for the greater good.  I hope they send Putin packing with his tail between his legs.

Day 58- Sunday, 2/27/22

Today I was thankful to get outside in the sunshine to take control of those nasty weeds. The flowers look so much better not overrun by weeds!  The front yard is done.  In the backyard I did some pruning but the weeds there will have to wait.  The back is so much bigger and will require a few weeks and extra help to be tamed.

Ok all done!  See you next week.
