Week 38

Welcome back and happy Tuesday!  Last week was another busy and exhausting work week but thankfully things on that front will be slowing down soon.  On the home front we had a great week and were able to squeeze in some good family time with the new in-laws.

Enjoy last week's pictures:

Day 260- Monday, 9/18/23

Ugh! There is an accident they are trying clear so traffic is at a dead stop this morning.  I hope this is not indicative of what the rest of the day will be like.  It ended up taking me over an hour to get to work when it normally takes 20 min.

Day 261- Tuesday, 9/19/23

John had a heart fit test at Mercy in Sacramento.  Thankfully we could do it here this year instead of having to go to San Francisco.  He did much better on it this year too plus we got to see his cardio rehab therapists that he hasn't seen in over 9 months, and they were all so surprised and happy to se how far he's come and how good he looks.

Day 262- Wednesday, 9/20/23

We're feeling the fall vibes today with some nice cool weather and a warm comforting meal for dinner.

Day 263- Thursday, 9/21/23

First he must play and then he must nap.

Day 264- Friday, 9/22/23

Yesterday at work our marketing manager took some photos in the lab for an upcoming event and today while scrolling through social media I see this ad posted by her that at first I just scrolled right by until I was like, wait a minute, and went back to do a double take--hey, that's me!  It kind of caught me off guard because I had no idea she would use the photos for anything but the event in October.  Anyone need a job?  LOL!  Back at home I bought some nice fall flowers to dress up our entry and started the prepping process for a party tomorrow.  TGIF!

Day 265- Saturday, 9/23/23

Happy 25th Birthday Tyler!  We had a very full house with a few of ours friends and then all of Lupe's family here to celebrate with us.  That 3rd picture is all of the in-laws: Lupe's 3 sisters with their 3 partners, plus her mom, stepdad, niece, and nephew.  She is standing next to her mom on the right and just behind her niece who's name is also Andrea but pronounced a little differently (mine ends sounding like ria and hers like raya).  It was a great party. We all had a good time and ate lots of yummy food but were also missing our 2 younger boys.

Day 266- Sunday, 9/24/23

It was cold this morning which was perfect for making some orange-glazed cinnamon rolls and then in the afternoon it felt like we were still trying holding on to the bit of summer with blue skies and bright sun warming things up.  The pool looks inviting but it's temperature is really too cold for swimming.  At least it's very pleasant and peaceful to sit by.

That wraps up another week and it's nice when you can end on a good note.  See you again but next time in October.
