Week 17

Welcome back to another week before heading into May.  This one was a much cooler and even wetter week.  We went back to winter for a bit.  It was also a very full week as you will see.

Take a peek at the pictures from last week:

 Day 111- Monday, 4/21/25

Rusty was relaxing on the stair landing with all his favorite toys just before I left for work first thing this morning.  Later at work I had to leave for a quick appointment in Davis so ended up parking in a further out lot on my return back but didn't really mind the walk in because the path is lined with beautiful poppies in bloom.

Day 112- Tuesday, 4/22/25

Bailey had her 1st annual vet checkup complete with more shots.  She's grown up really well, is super healthy, weighs 58 pounds now, and can be switched to adult dog food.  She's still nervous and not a huge fan of the vet office but is slowly becoming ok with it.  Later she was treated to a fun Earth Day inspired walk with her puppy class.

Day 113- Wednesday, 4/23/25

Wednesday at work I was offsite at a school in Woodland doing outreach.  We had 5 groups of 60-70 students each rotate through to our station for career day.

Day 114- Thursday, 4/24/25

Today I'm on-site in our building for more outreach.  It's Take Your Children to Work Day so we had many employees stop by with their kids to learn more about what we do in our different jobs on campus.

Day 115- Friday, 4/25/25

TGIF!  It's been such a busy week we are all so ready to just decompress and relax.  Our Friday night movie was a good suspenseful thriller we stumbled upon.  Not conducive to really relaxing but still worth the watch non-the-less.  Cheers to the weekend!

Day 116- Saturday, 4/26/25

It's been gloomy and windy out plus rain is expected overnight so before the yard gets muddy again I played some Frisbee with Bailey out back.  The poor pool is full of blossoms blowing down from the trees because of the wind.  These white blossoms are actually everywhere on the ground now and quite a few have made their way into our garage as we'll.  Not fun for the allergies. Later I was invited to a Pakistan restaurant to celebrate one of our students.  The food was really good and John was able to join me so it was a nice dinner out.

Day 117- Sunday, 4/27/25
Justin helpeed me run to the store to pick up stuff for dinner right after the rain stopped.  It was pretty wet and cold all morning but it is finally drying out and warming up so the day should end on a good note.  I also finished up this Netflix series I've been meaning to watch and it was really well done and based on true event.  What will be next?

That wraps up another week.  Thanks for stopping by.
